Persian lemon

For export

The Persian lemon, scientifically known as Citrus latifolia, is a variety of lemon native to Persia (present-day Iran) and is widely cultivated in countries with warm climates, such as Mexico and some countries in South America. It is also known as Tahiti lemon or Persian lime. This type of lemon is larger and has a thicker skin than the common lemon (Citrus limon). Its pulp is juicy and has a milder, less acidic flavor than other lemon varieties, making it popular for use in drinks, salad dressings, and cooking dishes in general.
